Malnutrition contributes to more than one third of all childhood deaths.
Without proper nutrition, children have difficulty getting bigger, stronger, and smarter. Their immune
systems have trouble dealing with childhood infections. Historically, we have provided school lunches
and extra nutrition to children who were falling behind. Unfortunately, we have been unable to provide
this service due to a lack of funds.
